Welcome to White Wednesday by
Fadedcharm

This is Alex, we enjoyed him for 18 years but he went to kitty heaven this past year. He of course loved cream...

Last week I had White Wednesday in my home, this week I am in the shop. Here is a variety of shop stuff...I use architectural elements in the shop and at home, it adds texture to white decor, white can be flat and lifeless without it. There are many shades of white, I think Benjamin Moore has the best selection of white paint. I never use a ceiling white, I tend to always use creams and linen color with my antiques. If I am painting a piece that needs to be white I never-never-never use a spray can. I brush the shade of white on that I want using a flat or eggshell finish, then I use Brewax over the paint after I sand and then rub. This gives the piece that old hand rubbed look. The only exception for using a spray can is on wicker and then I use a brush over the spray paint.

I don't know why that green is showing, it is not supposed to :(

I love cake toppers and have a collection of old wedding treasures in my dining room--these are just a few of them that I parted with and brought to the shop.

I enjoy decorating old bottles.
