Things to come...
Just a quick post to let you know what I am doing and where I will be the next couple of months. I have quite a bit on my plate so I will try and keep you posted on my where abouts and what is happening.
I am excited to be going to Virginia this week and join some amazing women there.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters…
If you are in the area please join us and see that the Lord is good.
Mid May I will be hosting my home to a very special lady and I will post more on that later.
Then I am loading up the SUV and heading out to Washington State to see my daughter Jody...
We will be a vendor at the Farm Chicks Show in June.
The show is in Spokane.
I will be visiting with Jody near Portland, for a couple of weeks and then I am home.
But not for long because I will be in Indiana for the
Horton's French Flea Market in July. I am excited to be a vendor there again this year!
Just to keep you up on things to come.
I will be posting on these and taking lots of pictures also.
Hope your week is a good one, mine will be preparing for my trip on Friday.
Many Blessings
Rebecca
Love hearing you will be in Washington State. Where will you be. I live on the Olympic Peninsula side...............so if you are close by there may be a chance I could meet you. I have not done very good on the last 2 weeks of my diet, was wondering how are you doing? Hugs Mary

Rebecca - wishing you safe travels and lots of success. Your daughter is beautiful just like her Momma. Take care! xoxo
ReplyDeleteAs I read this and realized that you are planning to be at the Farm Chicks Show in Spokane I was both excited and disappointed. I usually plan to attend with a group of ladies from our church but this year I will be flying to California for my nieces wedding the following week and decided that Farm Chicks too was too much for my schedule. We live about 4 hours West of Spokane, who knows maybe I can work it out. Safe travels to you!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter really is gorgeous. Looks like her mama!! Have a great time in Virginia. Sounds wonderful. Keep us posted! Cheers - Kathy

As Cathy said, your daughter is really beautiful and couldn't agree more, just like her Mother.

Hello Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteI'm Jane "Gmama Jane" from Grandmama's Stories and happened upon your blog today. I am Grandmother to 5 and like you I have a special needs grandchild, James with Cerebral Palsy. As I read your post, I felt an immediate bond, knowing how you felt when your daughter received the news and subsequently dealing with the joys and challenges of special needs children. In your case, you're doubly blessed. My heart often aches for MY child and I want to make her load easier. She is such a self sacrificing mother and has dedicated her life to providing the best care for our Sweet Baby James. James was born Oct. 7, 2007 2 months premature and we suspected as early as 2 months something wasn't right. I'm a retired special ed. teacher and my daughter was a teacher as well. We both knew and had to fight the medical community for a definitive diagnosis.
Anyway, I wanted to send you a prayer of Hope and perhaps we can encourage one another as Grandmothers of some very special and uniquely loved boys.
Blessings
Jane Hillis
