Hello
I am late - I am late for a very important date...
Yes, I missed the Where Bloggers Create party yesterday at my friend Karen's from My Desert Cottage.
I was in Indiana and couldn't get to my computer... But I still decided to post all the pictures I had downloaded prior.
I apologize Karen!
Last year I redid my whole studio, took everything out of it and put in a new floor and painted it. It is now totally different then when it was published in Where Women Create and I really like it better. It has better work stations and more storage. And I love the new floor, so much easier to keep clean.
Sewing station
I took many pictures and I know that's what you came for instead of the chatter... so grab a cup of coffee and enjoy!
I re-curtained all the shelving in white paint tarp instead of the vintage fabric and it just looks cleaner.
Old paper cabinet
Are you bored yet?
My studio is just a short path from the house through the garden
I am so glad you stopped by my studio, it is where I am most of the time and I feel truly blessed.
Many blessings to you...
Rebecca
What a lovely studio you have Rebecca! It's like a dream, it's so beautiful. I'm going back to study the photos again because I don't want to miss a thing! Thanks so much for sharing!

Rebecca everytime you show your studio I find something I've never seen before and I get just as excited as the first time. You have me starting to look at my space and thinking I need to do something. I'm going to spend 15 minutes a day removing things until I empty it. Oh sorry making it all about me:)
ReplyDeleteOk dreaming over have to go clean a greenhouse... yup in this heat!

Hi Rebecca. I LOVE your studio! It is warm and happy and inviting. In fact, I'd love to live there. I'll start packing now.
ReplyDeleteNot to worry. I have an air mattress. You won't have to do a thing.
LOLOL!!!
Seriously, though. Thank you for sharing. I truly enjoyed my time here. I'll be your newest follower.

Bored? Seriously? No way! I was thinking, no, don't stop there! Yep, sure was! So glad you shared all these pictures! It's wonderful but no surprise there! I'm loving it all, but especially drooling over the counter (?) against the wall. That had to have been a challenge getting it (back) in there because it has to weigh at least four tons. Gorgeous and so perfect to put other cupboards and treasures on. And my other favorite is all the stacks of fabric! I have a weakness for beautiful old fabric and you have a wonderful showing of that! It's all fabulous!!! Thanks so much for sharing! I hope all is well with you. I think of you often!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
"Her" and Romeo
Be still my heart. I could move right into your studio, and live happily after. Every nook and cranny totally call my name. Absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog, and look forward to each new post. Thanks.
R.E.,
ReplyDeleteIt's like stepping into a mad scientist's laboratory...only better...'cause the scientist working in this studio isn't mad from smelling too much ether. She's mad about creating beauty...and I'm mad about her!
The things you have curated are stunning and I know I'd never get a stinkin' thing done...I'd be so busy just touching everything.
Love the three dress forms clustered together. Looks like a scene out of a wedding. The old padre just prounouncing the happy couple man and wife. Love it!
I'm happy you're home all safe and sound from the show and from what I've been seeing...it was a fantastic one filled with laughter.
Love you bunches!
Deb
Oh, I want to live here!! What a beautiful place you have created!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a gorgeous space....love the vintage feeling.
ReplyDeleteWell, before we get to the business at hand... we're neighbors!!! Kinda. I live about 25 minutes away! Let's have coffee, tea or let's go shopping!!! Seriously, email me when you get a chance as I would love to get together. Now... back to our regularly scheduled programming~ your studio is such a treat! My eyes locked on all the linens. You're a girl after my own heart! Then, I loved the two books hanging on the wall with the wire going across the pages. Oh.... and the Mr. and Mrs. Mannies were so dear. Oops! and then the minister shows up behind them! Loved that! Please drop on by my blog as I would love to have you over! And let's chat!!
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca...
ReplyDeleteI'm awed with all the wonderful elements to your room!!! I love it all, but the elements that really capture my heart are the storage pieces and the way the you've used them so beautifully to showcase your lovelies! I could spend a very happy month going through all your treasures!
I can see your love for Christ too in your blog and LOVE that!! Me too! Great tour, and I so enjoyed myself.
Blessings, Doni
Looks like a beautiful place to create!
ReplyDeleteCan't pick a favorite part!
You studio is a complete charmer! I fell in love with your mannequins and paper drawers, but got really excited when I came to the end and saw your little spot in the garden. You're living in my dream space...sigh. Adored it all and am so glad I came by...)
ReplyDeleteWow what an amazing studio - full of so many vintage treasures, how do you get anything done when there are so many beautiful things calling for your attention! I love the light from your windows, I love your colours, I love that you have your own detatched room and I'd love to come over and look at all your beautiful things in person - that velvet ribbon is begging to be touched :O) THanks so much for sharing this beautiful room.
ReplyDeleteI love all your goodies. Everything is divine!
ReplyDeleteYour studio is simply awe-inspiring, and I've shared it on Friday Finds today with a link back. Thanks so much for sharing your space with us.
ReplyDeleteIt is difficult to describle such a wonderful studio as yours is. It is all of the above and then some. Your collections are some real eye candy reveals. The photos of your creative area are super, clear, and catch all that you do. Beautiful tour...
ReplyDeleteLinda
Be stillmy vintage/shabby chic heart! What a glorious place to be inspired and create. I love your space and all the pretties you have collected and displayed over the years. More than that, I love that you are a woman of God and proudly proclaim it in your blog and with your life! Thank you for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteOh my, Rebecca! I think I'm in heaven! Your space is absolutely perfect. I love all the vintage bits (yes, all of them!) and especially the shelf with the bingo ball cage. The clocks and watches are fabulous and the ribbon cabinet made me swoon. :) thanks so much for this fantastic tour!

I really enjoyed visiting your creative space. It is artwork just by itself. My favorite piece is your hanging lamp over your sewing machine. I think it is beautiful. I am thinking of someplace in my cottage where I could put one like it. Thank you so much for sharing.

Oh, so much to look at! I love your beautiful studio, and just know I could really have fun playing there.
ReplyDeleteI just came upon your lovely blog and peeped about a bit. WOW, I became a follower!!! I have loved the "TourS" of Where Bloggers Create and have enjoyed all the inspiration. I have been in the process of "ReDoing" my crafty space since we were cleaning out my mothers home. Just curious what size is your area? I think it would be simpler if I just had my studio in mom's 3 Story Victorian Home!!! Enjoy your little treasures and all the fun you have there. Thanks for all the photos and fun time visiting.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Studio. Found you on Pinterest. Never bored. Very inspired. Had to recently move my studio. Can you imagine putting yours back together, disabled, after some others packed you up? I'm very thankful they did this but this is where I am right now. I've gone with shelving to the ceiling as you know there is precious property there that just must be used. My son finds it not his style, he just told me, then he added "but I see why its all you" as he's helping me put the stuff back up high after I rearrange and find things. Can't craft again until I find my desk. have many decorative boxes and vintage suitcases that are empty so I just need to put in the time. I have Pinterest elbow haha but I'm happy to have found your blog. My blogz all start at withaz.net Nothing about my crafting or room yet, though. No pics to take yet. Still just a mess to me. I do see the end in sight, though. Thank you for sharing. Many blessings to you. Heidi just outside of Charleston. <3
