New Beginnings...

With endings comes new beginnings, with sleep comes an awakening, with death comes new life... look all around and see the design that God has created. Every tree, flower and field knows this simple circle of life. The old me must die so that I might be born a new and become the creature that God has designed, I am sure the butterfly does this with much more ease than I.
And so I enter a newness of life that God has set before me and I wake each morning with new expectations of what He has for me.

Closing Vintage Living is finally done and it was more work than I had anticipated. I have a lot more work ahead of me trying to find a place for everything. (my kids have threatened to put me on "Hoarders")

My Helpers...

Last Load...

I have to thank my guys Tim for traveling and giving his weekend to break his back and especially James for working hard in the heat and giving up every weekend for the last month.

Helping me start again...

My new studio space at The Water Street Studios. I am a resident artist at the WaterStreet art gallery.   I look forward to getting to know all 30 artists here in this creative community. It will be fun putting this studio together and learning more wonderful ways to create. There are many great classes to take and one of my first classes will be welding and portrait painting! Sound fun?
The gallery is open to the public and there is many events planned this year. I am so thrilled to be a part of this and look forward to challenging my art.
Thank you, to so many people who have supported me through this transition with word and deed.
I have missed blogging and I have missed visiting all of you... I will be really busy getting ready for the Creative Connection in Mpls. on September 16 - 17 -18
I will keep you posted but I am down to the wire on this one!
Yikes...

Blessings
Rebecca

  2. Rebecca,

You just have to appreciate the ride, if not enjoy it. If you think back to other changes in your life; years later you can look in the rear view mirror and see how they brought you forward to a new place with just as many joys and blessings.

For someone like you with so many talents and creativity, this is one of those wonderful times of renewal, throwing off the sludge to reveal a wonderful new path.

So here ya go...a big hooray for what you've accomplished and a big Whoo Hoo for what is ahead.

    my very best wishes

    Suzan
