Red Letter Day

It was a red letter day for me today... as I was getting ready for my trip to Minnesota and my daughter and her son Jesse who has just turned 2, were getting ready to leave for the shop. Jesse turned to me and said "bye bye Gramma, I love you"! First time he said I love you to me. My daughter has been trying to teach him to say it, so we have been working on it for awhile. He has just started saying it and of course he said it to my daughter and even to the fellow therapist at my daughters work but not gramma...lol
Well today he said it! I thought it was journal worthy :)

    Ahhh, there is nothing better than a grandbaby, is there? Mine are a little older (except one who is three) and since they were babies, I have always asked the famous Kojak line - Who loves you, baby?? And they would always say - Yaya or Gigi. Boy, did that feel good. Now the older ones are 9 and they still say it. Just makes your heart melt!!

    Oh, and he is a real cutie - that beautiful curly hair and those gorgeous blue eyes - gonna be a heartbreaker.

    NOW THAT I'M A GRAND MOTHER, I CAN UNDERSTAND HOW PRECIOUS THOSE MOMENTS WITH GRAND BABIES ARE. EVEN THOUGH ALICE DOESN'T TALK YET, WHEN SHE REACHES FOR ME OR WANTS TO GIVE ME HER SWEET BABY KISSES, I AM THRILLED TO MY TOES.

    Hi, I have 3 sons, 2 daughter-in laws and eight grandchidren, 3 girls and 5 boys. They fill my heart.
