Vintage Living Fall Workshops

Hello it is good to be up and running! I finally have my pictures up and my computer working properly.
First hand of business is to show you this lovely package I received weeks ago from Betty at Sammy Girl She was so generous with her give away. I was so excited to have won and have this package waiting for me when I got back from my CO trip.

It was all wrapped so cute...

This was a great book...

Isn't it just wonderful and so is her blog, please go on over and say hi to Betty for me at Sammy Girl and tell her what a wonderful gift she gave!

Thank you so much Betty!

For the past 2 weeks I have been giving workshops on Thursday evenings at the shop. It has been so much fun I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed the lovely and talented women that have come to do art. I am hosting workshops every Thursday through Christmas and I am so thrilled that I have had the classes full so far. I have room in my up coming workshops which are posted on my sidebar. So if you are in the neighborhood sign up for a little fun and a little inspiration.

This is looking out my shop door, isn't it fabulous, the church across the street has a pumpkin patch. They sell them for a charity and it makes the whole street so festive.

The colors are so magnificent this time of year...

So this is the workshop this week, Junk Jewelry... what a bunch of fun girls! We had so much fun making bracelets and they really were wonderful as you can see.

We are all packed in the back of the shop in my studio... cozy I should say!

I promise I will get more OTT lights...

Aren't they just fabulous!

Thanks girls for a great evening! You are all fabulous~

I am catching up here since my computer had been acting up - So this is the workshop 2 weeks ago. It is the Fabric Collage workshop that I gave in honor of KC Willis. I had just gotten back from her fabulous studio retreat and I gave some insight on how KC does fabric collage. It was a fun evening. Here are some pictures from that night.

Kathy and Judy working very hard on their art and they both turned out lovely. They are two very talented ladies and they both have blogs you will want to visit. Kathy has a wonderful blog called A Spectacular Mess
and Susan also has a wonderful blog called Circle of Buttons

Some of the fabulous wall hangings the gals made, really talented women.

Yes, and that is the talented Miss Judy from Tapestries of Nature. We have been friends for many years now and I so enjoy her company.

Susan and Kathy

I brought out the camera too late that night and missed some of the gals that left earlier. I didn't get a picture of Judy from Inrigue Designs but her collage was wonderful.

Judy hard at work
Here is some of my handiwork.

Thanks so much for stopping by and as always I enjoy hearing from you

Blessings

  1. It is wonderful that you are giving the classes. The jewelry and fabric projects look fabulous!! And nothing like the cameraderie of working with other like~minded women.

I am happy you enjoyed your trip to Colorado. I will have to look back to see if you posted.

I would love to attend one of your classes after the new year if you are still having them...it is a bit hectic now.

    Have a wonderful weekend, Rebecca!

  5. Morning, Rebecca!
So glad you enjoyed your box of goodies.
Wished I could have been there for the junk jewelry class as I have been collecting bits for just that purpose. Looks like you ALL had a great time in both classes. Now if we could just get you to Oregon .... lol!
Hugs and have a happy weekend, with just the right amount of tricks and LOTS of treats!
