Going Home

All good things must come to an end and it is about time I go home. I have the car loaded and I must say good bye to my daughter and hit the road. It was a fun stay with her and she made everything so nice for me...
We sewed our hearts out together, getting ready for Farm Chicks...

We made jewelry...

We Shopped...

We ate and drank...

And worked our bottoms off...

Thank you sweetheart! I love you.
... and a final goodbye to Cash

And now I am driving to Minnesota to see my two daughters Sarah, Nicole, 3 grand-daughters Sophie, Maddie, Savannah, my mom and my sister who is visiting from Az. I am taking the northern route through Idaho, Montana, N Dakota and into Minnesota. I have 6 passes to go through over the mountains.

The Yellowstone River was swollen as most of the lakes and rivers I went over.

I stayed in Butte Montana the first night and then drove 17 hours straight through to Minnesota.

Sarah and Savannah, my sweethearts.

Sweet Madeline my youngest grand baby

Nicole, Sophie and Savannah... my Sweeties

Sophie

Savannah and Sophie, they are cousins but they think they are sisters.
I had fun with the girls and it was good to see them, I wish I could see them more. They just turned 5 and will be starting school this year, hard to believe. Maddie just had her second birthday.
I stayed a couple of days with Nicole and Sarah and then headed to my mom's to stay for a couple of days.
I had a great visit with my sister and my mom. We just hung out the first day and caught up on everything. Mom made a great pork chop dinner, nobody cooks like mother!
The next day we took a drive up north to Milacs Lake and went to visit my sisters, mother in law and we all went out for lunch.

That was great fun but after almost a month of being away I need to get home. My husband is so supportive and bless his heart does fine without me but this is a long time to be gone. I also need to get ready for Tipton. July is coming fast and I need to be ready for the
 Horton French Flea Market.

It will be nice to be home and visit with you also. I will try and get around blogland this week, I have missed all of you.

I will be linking to my friend Debra at Common Ground for her Friday Inspiration party.
Blessings
Rebecca

  8. Sounds like you are having an absolutely fabulous time. Quality time with family. Making wonderful items to sell. And seeing the countryside as you journey along. A bit of wine here and there helps too. :) Happy trails as you head home. Best wishes, Tammy

  11. Sounds like you had a wonderful time, and what a beautiful family you have Rebecca. I can't wait for Horton's. I plan on going and I think it will be so much fun this year since I will have blogger friend there! I'm going to do a post on it when it gets closer to time. I love all of the stuff you and your daughter made. I am itching to get the sewing machine out but I have to stay focused on moving...packing....building...moving...packing...building...ugh!

You have had a beautiful tour, seing the most of your family-- daughters, and grandkids, and your mom- must have been the best.....
ofcaouse also making all so fantastic wonderful for the show with your daughter- and being with her for a good long time-
Seing all the beauty you have showed here, have been a wonderful thing for me, too- all you two made and prepared together, is just fantastic, and the places you visited so lovely.
I guess it has been a feast for you, AND a big work-- also a bit stressed driving so long, so many times, in this tour.
