This morning I jumped out of bed at 6 remembering today is White Wednesday...so I took advantage of the morning light coming through my bedroom window...after I made coffee.
Playing with light...
Upstairs bathroom
Dining Room
I love Wedgewood...
Kitchen...
I had no trouble taking the pictures this morning but luck would have it, for some reason they wouldn't upload on my home computer... so had to wait and load at the shop. Sorry I am late.
On the way to work this morning, I saw a coyote hunting for mice in a field. I see them every once in awhile and we have them around our house, but this is 35 miles closer to Chicago. I feel so bad for them, even though they have adapted pretty well. We keep taking the land from the wild life and keep building these strip malls, how many Home Depot's do we need??? Don't get me wrong, I love Home Depot but I would be willing to travel 10 miles to go to one, here there are 4 within 10 miles. It doesn't matter what state you are in anymore you will see the same scenery of strip malls and unless you read the signs you won't know where you are... I'm sorry, I despise it... And now, I am going to think about white and visit all your wonderful blogs and settle down. I hope you have a wonderful white day.
Blessings
Rebecca
Good morning, Rebecca! Thank you for stopping in to visit - so nice to meet you! Your wedgewood collection is wonderful. I had to get my glasses to be sure - I have the same teapot! It says Wedgwood Patrician on the bottom. I'm planning on putting it on White Wednesday in the future. You have beautiful vintage whites. I could look at the pictures all day. Your home is lovely and romantic!
ReplyDeleteYour home is just beautiful, and there is just something magical about morning light. Love your curtain panel in your bedroom...great place to start the day.
ReplyDeleteDebra

Your home is absolute heaven! You take beautiful pictures too! Love the curtain panel in the first photo and I'm in love with the walls in the bathroom. Did you do that yourself?

Hi Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I lost my comment to you. I had so much to say now I'm pressed for time. I'm with you on this animal thing. We have so many animals caught here in Michigan in the cities, especially the deer. It just breaks my heart.
Hey girl it was well worth the wait for your post. Your home is beautiful with a relaxed feel to it. I love it! Your columns are really nice. There was a shop that had big fat columns with chunky crowns, that were out of this world. Unfortunately someone else bought them right away.
Have a Wonderful Day-
As I was going through your pictures, I said to myself, oh! I love THIS picture, I'm gonna coment on this one, no this one, no this one..I'm in love with them alll! You have to know that your blog is one of my most favotires! Have a beautiful White Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteMy Best,

Bautiful. I loved your window coverings too. One looked like an apron is it. The dining room is beautiful. What a beautiful world you live in! BTW if you go to my other blog on my sidebar there is a list of free blog templates. I don't remember off hand which one I used but you could go check out those links. But there is probably a link all the way at the bottom of my page where I posted White Wednesday. If not my other blog will show up on this comment.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and sharing your beautiful home.
Smiles,
Sherry
Hi Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteYour blog is wonderful and if I didn't have to run I would read and drool thru the whole thing. I'm with you on "enough with the Home Depots". We'll talk later on that.LOL
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Carole
Great post on your white pics. I'm with you on not building anymore strip malls. They should just find buildings to use that are already built and improve on those if needed. Why do they need a new building? Also, like all your Sunday offerings.
ReplyDeleteAnother incredibly beautiful "white" post! That lamp in the first pics is 2 die 4 gorgeous! Love your bathroom....that wall treatment is lovely and that mirror/clock is so beautiful and unique....love it. ;-)

ReplyDeleteLove your white wednesday!! Sorry to hear about your kitty. Yes we have two cats, two dogs. Some days it feels like 20 and others like none. The curtains in your window are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca, Your whites are so lovely. I could stay here forever. I love the beautiful slips on your dining chairs.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about infringing on the poor wildlife. We don't have that problem too much here because we life in rural Idaho. But I know it is becoming a problem in so many areas. I hope the little coyote was able to get full.
Thank you so much for the lovely visit.

June
