Welcome to White Wednesday

Before we get to White Wednesday I would like to thank Mandy again at Maygreen Fairies for giving me this award, please visit her lovely blog. And now it is time I pass it on to 5 others. My picks for the Beautiful Blogger Award are:

Tiina at Dream in Cream for her beautiful whites

Alice at Thoughts from Alice W. for her beautiful studio
June at Laughing With Angels Because I think she is an angel
Judy at Tapestries of Nature for sharing such wonderful memories
Piitis at Valkoinen Pioni for her beautiful photography

Please visit them if you haven't already they are so talented and inspiring.

Welcome to White Wednesday hosted by Kathleen at Faded Charm. If you love white, you will want to visit Faded Charm and visit all the wonderful blogs she has listed for the event.

It is getting to be that time of year now when I start feeling the crunch...to produce for the holidays. So I have started several projects and pillows are always high on the list. Here are some pillows I am working on this week and they just happen to be in shades of white. Starting with the fabric I used all vintage cotton and linen that has naturally aged, I love the age marks and creaminess of old whites. And of course lots and lots of old lace.

The pictures I transferred onto linen and hand stitched them onto fabric using different textures.

Whenever I get a chance I use old hardware, I love it-they are little decorative works of art.

Here are some finished pillows.

Those are my whites for this Wednesday...I hope you have a great white day!
I also want to thank all of you for your encouragement this past week while my husband has been in the hospital, he is doing much better and recovering better than expected.
Blessings
Rebecca
