Hello
So glad you could stop back for Christmas in our home. As I said, I didn't decorate like I usually do. Normally I have fresh garland and do a little more around the house but this year just got away from me. I really enjoy decorating for Christmas,
I think we all do.
Our family room
We added this room when the kids were young and needed a romp room.
I totally stole this idea (with permission) from Carole at Maynard Greenhouse
I love my bears...
One of my favorite finds, old white terracotta angel wings...
Living room, fireplace. Original to the house, Italian marble.
As this week brings us closer to Christmas with all the busyness getting ready for family and friends, let us take a few minutes and enjoy the simple things.
Reflect on the real meaning of this holiday and think upon Jesus.
Many Blessings
Rebecca

ReplyDeleteOh Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteYour home looks perfect and any idea gleaned from Carole is good. She has such a way with things doesn't she ? Your tree is magnificent with so many lights. I don't think that there's anything better than fairy lights at Christmas.
Wishing you and your family a special and magical time and I look forward to your posts in 2011 XXXX

I just took the tour of your home for Christmas. It was pretty, all creamy white and soft every where.Thats not what lead me to be a new follower though.I could feel the sweet love of Jesus on your site and I can see it in your home. The white wing you own reminds me of a vision I had 13 years ago that I'll never forget. If you would like to read it ,I blogged about it a few weeks ago. Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteWOW, I think that's the biggest tree I've ever seen in a house! I LOOOOOOVE the nativity scene in front of the fireplace!

Your Christmas decorations make your Home look truly Magical for the Season... I LOVE the Tree... I wish living trees didn't dry out so quickly here in the Southwest Desert, I've had to resign myself to the faux Tree most years. *le sigh* Nothing beats the real deal...
